Most of the names that appear here were already around 40 years ago. But we at Jung von Matt START believe that it is worth taking a closer look at the big brands of tomorrow: Strong brands achieve higher returns, are more resilient and recover more quickly from setbacks.

Jung von Matt START and Appino answer this question every year to find out which German start-ups are already on the way to becoming strong brands and already have a great brand image. Since 2020, the annual ‘STARTUP BRAND RANKING’ has been published, in which the image of young consumer brands is researched. To this end, 8,000 consumers are surveyed six times a year and their perceptions are used to define the industry-known ranking.
